Installation Of OS

 1.  Obtain the OS installation media: This could a DVD or a USB flash drive for containing the OS installation files. You can download it from the official website of the OS provider or from other channels.

2. Backup your data: Before you proceed with the installation, it is very important to backup any important information you have in your computer to prevent any important data loss.

3. Insert the installation media: If you have a DVD, you insert it in the DVD drive to make the installation process or if you have an USB flash Drive just plug it into the USB port.

4. Restart your computer: Restart the computer and let it boot with the installation media. This will start the installation process for the OS, you will need to press a specific button key to boot installation media here is example (e.g., press F12 for the menu)

5. Partition the hard drive (if it is necessary): When the process of installation is happening you may need to partition the hard drive. You can also make new partitions or choose existing partition to install the OS.

6. Format the partition (it is optional): If you're installing the OS on a new hard drive you may need to format the partition you need to be very careful when doing this stuff because formatting can erase all data on that partition.

7. Install the OS: Once partition is ready, you can now proceed with the installation. The installer will copy all the files he needs to and install the OS on the selected partition.

8. Follow the prompts: follow the prompts provided from the installer examples like choosing systems preference's user accounts and the configuration of the network.

9. Complete installation: Once the installation is complete you need to restart your computer but remember to remove the DVD or flash drive before restarting computer.

10. Install drives and updates: After the OS is installed, you may need to install some hardware components for example graphic card sound cards etc. it is also very important to make sure to install the latest updates to ensure the OS is up to date and good.
